About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW 22171) registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences in California. I specialize in psychotherapy for adults of all ages and backgrounds.
It has been my honor to support a diverse range of individuals across multiple clinical settings. Most recently, I spent over 10 years as a therapist for the Kaiser Permanente Redwood City Department of Psychiatry, where I provided triage, assessments, individual therapy, and group facilitation. Prior to this, I served as a psychiatric and medical social worker at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, gaining extensive experience in the inpatient psychiatric unit, emergency room, and medical units.
I have also worked with Bay Area Cancer Connections for over 15 years as as a group leader and pro bono therapist. I am currently leading the Exhale Moment group for women who are post active breast and ovarian cancer treatments to learn skills to cope and connect with others.
My therapeutic style encompasses cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy, and compassion focused therapies as well as EMDR.
